If you are not already a Maine Roads to Quality Registry member, joining connects you to Maine's professional development system and establishes your official professional record in ECE. Your existing professional experience and education may already count toward your Registry level — make sure it is fully and accurately documented.
Find a Training
MRTQ PDN offers Core Knowledge training across all age groups and settings — infant toddler, preschool, school age, inclusive practice, and family child care. Begin with the training most specific to where you are going. On-demand options are free and available anytime.
Consider a Credential
If you are working in or moving into a licensed early care or education setting, a Maine credential formally recognizes your expertise in that specific age group or area of practice. Your existing education and experience may qualify you for an alternative training pathway — meaning you may not need to complete all required trainings from the beginning.
